"Manufactured Landscapes" (2006)

Manufactured Landscapes

I am very much looking forward to seeing this film, “Manufactured Landscapes” (a trailer is available if you follow the link), which follows photographer Edward Burtynsky as he shoots in China. Burtynsky looks at the incredible industrial revolution happening right now, and some of its impacts.

Here are more examples of Burtynsky’s ‘manufacturing’ photos.

In Portland, the film plays at Cinema 21, Sept 9-13, 2007.
